Maj. Sherlock Gabana, head of Police Station 7, identified the subject as Khalid Diacat, 18, a native of Lanao del Sur, but is also residing at Barangay 30 here.

Gabana said the transaction happened around 8:30 p.m. at a residential village.

Police recovered from Diacat eight sachets of suspected shabu, and the P500 marked money.

Gabana said they placed Diacat under surveillance for three days before they conducted the operation.

“We have yet to check if he has a family or relatives here because he would usually go in and out of the city,” Gabana said.

Police considered Diacat as a high-value target because of the huge recovery of illegal drugs from him, the station commander said.

Gabana said the suspect distributes his items within the city.

The suspect will be charged for sale and illegal possession of dangerous drugs, Gabana said.

Meanwhile, Diacat, who refused a media interview, is detained at the said police station.
