Mayor Isko Moreno calls out foreigner smoking in public area

- He caught a foreign national smoking in a public space

- The mayor asked the foreigner to throw his cigarette

Manila Mayor Isko Moreno visited Malate on Monday at around 1 a.m.

KAMI learned that the mayor caught a foreign national smoking outside a bar in Malate, near the “No Smoking” sign.

In a video shared by Jonathan Andal on Twitter, it can be seen that Moreno asked the foreigner to throw his cigarette. The foreigner threw the cigarette on the floor but the mayor asked him to pick it up and throw it properly to the trash can.

“Pick it up, pick it up. Throw it there,” the mayor said.

In the same video, another foreign national came to appeal to the mayor. However, when Moreno explained that smoking is not allowed, the foreigner agreed to the mayor.
