Cook, Apple’s CEO, has given the clearest indication that the iPhone 5S
won’t be on shelves until autumn. Speaking after revealing the
company’s last financial figures, Cook said: “Our teams are hard at work
on some amazing new hardware, software, and services that we can’t wait
to introduce this fall.”
His words came after the web worked
itself into a frenzy about Apple introducing its new handset this
summer, as it did with its old school iPhone 3G and 3GS models.
