A Tribute To Hachiko

A movie about a dogs strong and unexplainable bond to his master. Based on a true story, there are 2 movies about Hachiko, Hachiko Monogatari (1987) and Hachi: A Dog's Tale (2009). Hachiko was an Akita dog, the real Hachiko was born in Odate in 1923 and died in 1935. A statue was erected at the Shibuya train station. The station entrance near this statue is named "Hachikō-guchi", meaning "The Hachikō Entrance/Exit", and is one of Shibuya Station's five exits.
